Law Enforcement End Hunt for Young Boy Lost in Australia's Outback
Australia's police have suspended the hunt for a four-year-old child who has been disappeared in the outback for nearly several weeks, after renewed operations proved unsuccessful to discover any traces of the boy.

Gus Lamont was spotted enjoying himself near his home on a isolated rural property close to Yunta, about 186 miles from Adelaide, on September 27th.
His grandparent left him alone for about thirty minutes before checking on him, only to realize the youngster missing, prompting one of the biggest ground and aerial operations in the region's past.
Present Position
Police - who do not believe wrongdoing - say they will continue examining, but that the situation has become a "search for recovery".
Earlier, officials temporarily reduced the search, only to recommence it on Tuesday alongside 80 military staff.

"You can imagine just how they are coping... without having clarity as to precisely where their child is and what's happened to him. This would be heartbreaking for every family," Commissioner Stevens said.
Through a spokesperson, the relatives household has previously said they are "overwhelmed" by Gus's loss.
"This represents a shock to our relatives and friends, and we are struggling to process what has transpired," Bill Harbison said.
"The child's absence is noticed in everyone, and we miss him exceeding expressions can describe."
